Default Sticky throttle with heated grips

Anyone have a problem with the throttle getting sticky when the heated grips are turned on? I'm assuming something becomes sticky inside the grip when it becomes hot, but I can seem to find any issues.
The stickyness starts about 1 minute after turning on the grips, and feels a lot like my throttlemeister cruise control adjusted to a low/medium setting.
I can remove my hand from the throttle and it very slowly returns to normal.
It's just irritating and not extremely safe.
Thanks for any comments.

It likely is your throttlemeister. The grips expand when they get warm. Their lengthwise expansion can make them hit the end of the throttlemeister. The solution is to position the throttlemeister a bit further from the end of the grip.

And a warning: If the throttlemeister is in use when you turn on the grips the throttle can get very hard to turn. On some bikes it can cause either the grip assembly or the throttlemeister to move, rendering the throttlemeister inoperable until the positioning is corrected.

I agree that it is the throttlemeister. I have had the same problem, haven't yet thought about fixing it.

Thanks for the info Marc. That's kind of what I figured. I already have one washer between the throttlemeister and the bar, and when I add another one the Throttlemeister is to far away from the grip where it doesn't work properly. I guess I need to decide if I want warm grips or cruise control? Or warm grips with a real sticky throttle that drives me crazy.
I appreciate your help.
