Default Storing with fuel stabiliser?

I have had my 2010 in a garage for a month and probably wont ride it till March.
I used 91&94 Octane Chevron gas.Should I add some kind of fuel stabiliser while the bike is up on the center stand for four months?

I think if you let it sit that long, yes. You might check out Star Tron as it is a stabilizer and works to offset the ethanol problems that are well documented elsewhere.

Fuel stabilizer doesn't hurt. But if the bike has all ready been put away for the winter it is too late. You need to add stabilizer then take a ten minute ride (or more) to make sure the stabilizer reaches every part of the fuel system before storing the bike.

Default Storing with fuel stabliser

Your suggesting a short ride...can do no snow on the roads at this time in Port Coquitlam BC where the bike is....35km east of Vancouver.
Thanks
Steve

You can still benefit from adding stabilizer, especially on a fuel injected bike. A 10 minute ride after adding was the norm on carbureted bikes where you needed to completely replace the fuel in the float bowls. On an FI bike, there is very little fuel that is downstream from the fuel pump when the bike is sitting. I suggest you add the amount prescribed on the additive bottle; shake the bike a little; then start it and let it run for 1 minute. That should get the additive mixed throughout your system and not overheat the engine.
