Google "travel fishing rods". There are plenty that break down into a size that can easily be strapped to the back of your bike. Or you can go with something like this if it will work for you. Don't know if they are any good or not.

Default Thanks

Thanks. I will keep searching and will post some pics when I have sorted out my fishing rod issues. I am planning to fit surf fishing rods to the GS x2. it will be interesting to see what I come up with. most of the places I ride to are along the australian coastline, which for those who know, require around a 15' rod to do some real fishing.. I will keep you posted.

I've seen pics of folks who made rod holders out of PVC tubing of an appropriate diameter. Easy to cut to the desired lenght and glue end caps on, with a threaded cap for the top. The hard part would be figuring out where to lash it to the bike.

Thumbs up I have done it!!!!!

Hi to those who may be slightly interested in adding fishing rod holders to your GS, well I have done it and I am going to take some photos and post them as soon as I work out how to do it. I think I got carried away, but if you are as OCD as I then you will understand. The results will show when I post the pics. Anyway, thanks to those who posted on this topic.
