Can you think of a better bike to get out of that hell hole for the weekend?

If I see a perfectly clean GS here in Vermont with all the farkles and not a speck of dirt, I figure at the very least the owner knows a good bike when he sees one! The fact that he treats it like a Hummer doesn't impact my life one way or the other.

I wouldn't give 'em too much grief. Many of those guys started out desert racing and/or canyon carving. I met some L.A. riders a few years ago and rode with them to Death Valley. They're fast getting there and very good when they get there.

Well opticat, I kinda agree with you, in the great land of Oz we have a saying... 'you can't knock a bloke for having a go' .... maybe they don't go like some of us but they are at least having a go.... anyway, really, how many men and women out ther buy a bike, boat, car, 4wd, sewing machine, or whatever and use it too it's full potential?? maybe .01% if I may exagerate...

who cares anyway, it takes all kinds or the world would be a boring place to live..
