Default If You Keep Your Bike Outside:

Hello,

I was just wondering, for those of you forced to park outside all year, how you go about it referencing type of cover used, locks and general wear and tear you may note on your precious BMW GS.

There are bunches of bike covers out there. I've always had good luck with Dowco. Go to this website, http://www.dowcopowersports.com/reso...rcycle_covers/, and look at the Guardian Weatherall Plus.

I have been through them all and the best one by far is the actual BMW cover made specifically for the GS

Although I don't own one of Motorrad's covers, everything else I've purchased from them is high quality. I'm certain the cover will serve you well.

I used a Dowco cover for several years when storing my bikes outdoors. Just don't let water puddle or snow stay on it for a long time & you'll be fine. Throw a charger on the battery once a week or two.
