Default New Member From England

Hi Folks,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Andy Hird, I'm from Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England and own a 2006 R1200GS Adventure and love it, previously I owned a 1100GS for 8 years.

Here's my bike, I've had the panniers, beak and tank cover painted black, for stealth reasons !

Cheers

Andy

Thanks, no standard seat and windshield.

I had the seat re-covered by a guy called Tony Archer, in Huddersfiled, England for £70, because I didn't like the red part on it. My bike was originally white.

Cheers

Andy

I dig that black-and-silver color scheme. Very nice!

Default Ixion....?

Andy Hird....? Hmmm.....the name's familiar. Are you or were you an Ixie, Andy?

Supplementary questions consistent with the theme of "When did you stop beating your wife?" may or may not follow depending upon the nature of your response to the initial enquiry......

I'm sorry Mate, I don't know what an Ixie is ??

I'm a member on UKGSER and the GS Club, with my name as my user ID, so maybe that's where the name's familiar from ??

Cheers

Andy
