Default Rekeying 1200 adventure side cases

I have on the way a used set of adventure side cases for my 2008 1200 gs.

Does anyone here know of a site where it explains how to remove and rekey existing lock cylinders?

Thanks
Dave

Default Re-keying

That info supplied is good and to add a little extra to help you on life's way; With most (but not all) locks, bike home etc once you can manage to extract the cylinder, and there are many variations, the job at hand is to arrange or make the tumblers all flush with the cylinder,WITH THE KEY INSERTED. This is done as well explained in previous post by jumping tumblers to achieve a smooth cylinder (in some locks it is sometimes necessary to leave a tumbler out from installation) However in some brands of locks to achieve a smooth round cylinder surface, you must FILE the protruding tumblers smooth. Don't forget to do this with the key inserted. Hope this will be of future help. Ain't forums cool?
