I live in Australia, and i have noticed there is a big difference in the price of parts and accessories in the states compared to Australia, they are a lot higher here.
I will be in Las veagas and Los Angeles next week. Can anyone tell me where I can find a dealer that carries a big range of parts etc, for a 2005 R1200gs. There are a few farkles i would like to try, and there are probably some over there that i don't even know about. Thanks for any help.

Hi Graham,
Both cities you mention have BMW stores that sell parts. Problem is most dealers carry a very limited supply of parts. Perhaps you could get a parts catalog in the US and have someone here ship parts to you.

I think that may be the best way, i think most of the internet bargains can't be sent outside of the states and Canada. I may have some friends in Canada foreward them on,
Thanks for the info.

Hi Graham,
I just came back from the good ol' USA, and purchased a few parts from "Irv Seever BMW" in Anaheim. The guys there were really helpful and seem to have alot of their products in stock. It might be worth giving them a call at least. Hope this helps. ![]() ![]() ![]() Jaymboze. Sydney, Australia. |

I am in L.A at the momment, and after another weekend in Vegas i will be heading to Canada for a few weeks.
I have bought of Beemer Boneyard, but they ship from New Jersey, not California, or Nevada. Thanks for the info though. Biy bikes are cheap here, The Australian government taxes make owning a BMW in Australia very expensive.
