Default Possible broken tooth in final drive

Have just discovered that ther is a loud crunching noise from the rear of the drive shaft def not the bearing but def disturbing enough to the extent that I can feel vibration when riding. Now off the road but would like some info before going to garage

I think you need to tell us a wee bit more. Age, mileage, how do you know it's not the FD bearing...?

You could drop the oil in the FD and see if there are any particles in it.

Failing that, I guess it's a phone call to those nice folks at Motorrad Central West in Bishopbriggs and book it in for investigation.

Default Re FD bearing

Just had bearing done by said same nice folk (those that have just left). looks like another visit
