Default Valve cover helicoil install

A couple of weeks ago during my regular maintenance, I stripped the threads on the head that secured one of the valve cover bolts. Naturally I was worried that I destroyed it and would require duct tape and bailing wire to keep it together. But on this site it was recommended that I install a helicoil.

To update, I performed the helicoil install yesterday morning and it took me all of about 20 minutes start to finish. Just remember a couple of things and the install is super easy:
1-Cover all valves and rocker arms.
2-Drill perpendicular and very steady.
3-Don't drill too deep.
4-Clean all metal shavings.
5-Don't forget to break off the tab from the helicoil.

I hope that I don't have to do another install but if I ever do, I know that it will be easy.

My thanks goes to Marc and Bullwinkle for their advice on this one. Their knowledge regarding the GS is spectacular.
