Default New world

Hello out there,
I am new to the world of BMW and to be honest I don't pick my bike up untill Monday so I'm not an owner yet! I have my wife to thank for convincing me that a beamer would be a very good two up bike for us and all our crap. Before that we had two VTR1000 honda's. Bikes have always been part of our lives and our kids all ride as well. We settles for a 2009 RSA with all the bits and pieses. So I am looking forward to crunching some miles and getting to out of the way places. As well as being my day to day wheels. I hope to learn a few things about the beamer, enjoy a few rides and make a few friends along the way.
Look forward to having some fun
Incy

Incy, welcome to the forum. As previously stated by pdxrmccgs, the '09s are good machines. I purchased one at the end of '09 and couldn't be happier. Because of the economy, I've not been able to ride as much but I just returned from a 5,000 mile trip and the bike was absolutely flawless in altitudes from 400' to over 10.000'. It saw temperatures from 38° to 109°, a couple of 600 mile days. All the while, I was smiling.

I'm sure you and your wife will enjoy your new machine. By the way, you're wife sounds like a smart lady. You're wise to pay attention!

Mike

Welcome to the forum. Just to get you started right; beemers have 2 wheels and bimmers have 4 wheels.
You are going to love it.
