Default BMW Customer Relations Chat

On Friday I got a questionare from BMW about the dealer who I purchased me R1200 GSA from. At the bottom of the questionare it asked if I would like to have BMW customer relations contact me. I checked that and today a very nice gentleman from called me. They had sent an email early this morning wanting to know what I wanted to chat about.

I told him how I have a smile on my face from riding the GSA, and how happy I was with the dealer. Then told him how uncomfortable the seat is after riding for a hundred miles or more. I also had the same problem with the F 650 GS, and tried a BMW comfort seat, that was better but still not great. I told him that there are many people on this forum and many other forums that feel the same way. I shared him for what the bike costs it should have a comfortable seat. Then chatted with him that what many do, is buy an after market seat, and if the after market people can build a seat that is comfortable BMW should be able to. Then I shared with him how great, and refined the GSA is, and for me it suits my every need, out of a motorcycle.

He thanked me and said he would pass my comments on, I only hope it gets to the right place and BMW makes a seat that is as comfortable as the motorcycle is riding.

Now for more searching and buying a comfortable seat, by next spring so I can take some long enjoyable rides on the GSA.
