Default Battery Tender

Quick question, is the Battery Tender Junior sufficient as a trickle charger for my GS? I've been reading some of the winterizing threads as well as one on the BMW charger. Wondering if I'll need to invest in something better than what I have....

Many folks are quite happy with the BT Jr. You'll have to connect it directly to the battery.

Thanks Marc. That was the plan for direct connection. Oil change is done and if this freakish warm weather continues to hold, I'll have a few more days of riding yet, but basically getting ready to put her under the cover for the winter.

I'm assuming that I need to leave the bike cables off while charging which is what I did with my pevious bike...

I was thinking about purchasing the new Optimate 4 dual for BMW, but at $80, although cheaper than the BMW one, I could not see myself adding one. I already had an Optimate 3 available.
Pigtail on the left side of the bike. I plug it in avery time the bike is in the garage and I have used the extra connection for my heated vest, since it did not work with the aux plu (10A were too much).
