Took the GS in for the 600 mi. service, all was well besides the need to reprogram something called "DME" to correct a hesitation in the throttle response. Runs beastie now, the total bill minus the throttle biz was $236.00
Has anyone else experienced this DME thing? |

Is your dealer is a combined car/motorcycle dealer? I'd expect a moto-only dealer to talk about the BMS-K, not a DME. Oh, DME stands for for Digital Motor Electonics. Info at BMW Technology Guide : Digital Motor Electronics (DME)
I suppose the BMS-K unit is a particular kind of DME.... |

Its a Bikes only dealership, that is just what was printed out on the invoice. I'm not at all familiar with the BMW system operation, (but it functions far better than did the one on a V-Rod I used to own.) O-o
