How much to fix 2001 bmw 740il normal gps screen?

i have a 2001 bmw 740il and the gps screen is fuzzy and gone and you cant see anything. also the radio cuts off every 2 min and you have to to turn it off then back on i was wondering is this the gps unit in the trunk? or the actual screen? it has come back on and functional but then went back off and it looks like static on the screen how much would this be to fix?

I'd say knowing BWM's that it would be prohibitively expensive to fix... Maybe consider an aftermarket system.
