Today, after the cold of recent days .. finally the sun is shining, and returned late this morning I could not resist the lure. So I took the bike and I headed back over the mountains towards Lake Palermo Piana degli Albanesi, where I met some very nice and curious horses that have literally played with me. He almost posing for their photograph. Then again a dog .. that made me company in my walk along the shore of the lake was blowing a light breeze, creating small waves unusual for this reservoir. When I left home I could not believe it, it marked the outside temperature +22 ° and then level off on 16/18 in the mountains! Along the way I stop several times to admire the beautiful scenery of these areas. There are no cars around, just the silence and the blowing of the wind. Not content to Ficuzza I headed to visit the Royal Casina Hunting Bourbon recently restored and opened to the public (http://digilander.libero.it/salernum/la 20storia.htm%). Today I am the only visitor, and after signing the guest book I make a turn of the old palace. Very interesting the room where the king received his guests, with beautiful frescoes depicting scenes of hunting. I've enjoyed every little moment. Then to end the half day I did stop at the Antica Trattoria Station Ficuzza to enjoy in peace the local cheese melted with balsamic vinegar and fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms and cheese fondue!
