with the Ulysses Orange Group


Seeing how I am here for a while now I through I would try the rides with the Ulysses Orange Group.



I had been watching the weather conditions all week, which said rain/wind/cold for Saturday. Friday night it dumped down and in the morning it was still misting at 7.00am. Looking at the weather map it showed no rain, but the clouds were still shooting over in the direction of Orange and it was COLD, about no more than 10 deg C.

At 9.00am the sky’s were clearing and at 10.00am I decided to pack, clean the catheads off the tyres and leave.

I left Eugowra and headed to Orange and it was COLD. At Orange, I filled with fuel and went to the Robin Hood Hotel to meet with the Ulysses Orange Group. 8 people turned up, but only Chris W and myself went for the ride.

It’s 1.00pm and we are off. Around the back road of Orange to Forest Reefs and onto Blayney where I reckoned the temp had dropped to about 2 deg C. Then along the Mid Western Highway, and turned off at Mandurama to go to Canowindra. I parted with Chris W here and headed back to Eugowra, and Chris W went back to Orange via Cargo.

I got home at 3.30pm and travelled 230km
