Cargo, Canowindra Loop NSW
with the Ulysses Orange Group

As normal I had been watching the weather conditions all week, which said a max temp of 16C wind/overcast and a slight chance of a shower for Saturday. So at 10.30am I got the bike out, did the usual checks, packed up and clean the catheads off the tyres.

Its 11.00am and Iam off to Orange. Nice and pleasant riding but the head winds coming from the Orange direction were bad. I got into Orange at 12.00 noon, filled with fuel and went to Bunnings to buy some hardware to erect a gate, then headed to the Robin Hood Hotel to meet with the Ulysses Orange Group.



I arrived at 12.50pm with not enough time to have much lunch or say hello. There were about 20 bikes already there and 8 of them would be going on the ride lead by Mick B and sweeper Chris W.

It’s 1.10pm and we are off. Out along the Cargo Rd, through Cargo and onto Canowindra where we turned right and took Longs Corner Rd back to the Escort Way. This is where I left the group, turned left and headed for home. It good to be riding on these roads for a change as most of them I spend drive the car along.

I got back home at 2.30pm and travelled 210km. I had a ride around town to check the place out as I have not done this for a while and took some photos.
