Default Camping Solitude

Sometimes you just want to get away from it all. That's what I did on a Friday, camping at a primitive site on the way to an annual dinner that would take place the next evening. There are No tables. No fire rings. No water (other than a nearby stream). No garbage pick-up. No bear boxes. No fee (but you need to fill out a form that becomes your permit). There are two pit toilet.

Best of all... nearly no people.

Default Kool

That looks like a real Kool spot you found, to camp and relax. Great pictures, looks plenty relaxing, too.

I am hoping to do that next year, on the new GSA I just purchased a couple weeks ago. I camped a few days along a stream in Idaho this fall, forgot the pad to sleep on. Over the years those rocks have become much harder and must be growing also. Would find a good spot then unload the bike and ride the back roads on the F650GS.
