Default a quick 2300 mile loop in Montana and Idaho

I thought crossing Yellowstone Park would be a great idea to get to Beartooth Pass....I forgot about the park's Buffalo traffic jams...ugh. We ended up in Cody, WY. really late and only had about 2.5 hours at the Wild Bill Museum...not nearly long enough. I must admit riding Beartooth in the dark was a interesting experience...glad we rode back over the next morning from Red Lodge to appreciate the fabulous road. Ran up to Glacier on the Seely Lake highway and caught the Road to the Sun...though the road construction and associated crowd made things a bit mediocre. Great Views...O.K. riding. The best part of the trip...a day riding Central Idaho's hole in the wall State highways out to places like Pierce, Headquarters and Elk River. Not long runs, but beautiful riding. Finished up coming South to Joesph, Oregon and down to Hells Canyon. Pretty long days but all in all a good fall ride with great weather and a minimum of road construction delays.
