Thumbs up Exotic Costa Rica - Central America-

WOW

Awesome adventure in Costa Rica. I had the big time opportunity to arrange with www.costaricamototours.com a ride to the PENINSULA DE NICOYA, a yearly ride that included Tropical Rain Forest, Tropical Dry Forest and of course incredible beaches in Costa Rica.

Ride started in San Jose with Dakar 650s, 1200GS, 1150 Adventure and the G X enduro like 20 guys anxious for adventure. Heading to El COCO friday night.

Ride included this exotic places:

an Jose - Liberia- Playas del Coco
Playas del Coco - Potrero - Brasilito - Conchal - Bahia de los Piratas
Avellanas - Junquillal - Garza - Samara - Playa Carrillo - Punta Islita
Playa Coyote - Cobano - Tambor - Puente Amistad- San Jose

Lots of fun, and off course adrenaline. Several people from Canada saw the bikes and joined us at Conchal beach.

Sounds great! I'll be there mid-October. Any idea if anyone rents R1200's in Liberia?

Sadly, I've been doing some research and cannot find ANYWHERE around Liberia that rents GS's. Seems San Jose is the only place, and I won't get that far south. I hadn't planned on riding there at all, but I've seen and heard so much lately about riding in CR that I may try some last-minute rearranging of our schedule.

...even if it means riding a (gasp) Harley or something.
