Default Time to re-grip

My grips are getting worn smooth so I think it's time for new ones. Any opinions on what works best? My grips are heated so I'm not sure what my options are. I've got a set of Oury "Road" grips that I would like to use but not sure that they would fit - or melt.

I'm wide open to suggestions!

Default Time to Re-Grip

I've used and am using grip puppies on my 2008 LT and on my 2009 GS. No problem with heat and install was 5 minutes. They fit right over your stock grips.

Default Heat?

So the grip puppies transfer heat just as well as the without them? I was wondering what replacements are available as well as even with only 7500 miles my grips already look wore out. THey seem cheap as hell. I liked the old R1100 grips. Heck even my old R100 grips were better than these!
I might just try these "puppies".

I have had the grip puppies for 6 months and they are great.
The grips transfer heat just fine.
I tore the first one I tried to put on then I did a online search and found
out how to put them on.
Some say to use hair spray, I must have not bought the right spray, thats when I ripped the puppie. I bought a second set.
I used the hot water method.
Put the puppies in hot water, as hot as you can without burning yourself.
They will soften up and you will be able to pull them on over the big end of the stock grip.

Grip Puppies work great. Less vibration, better grip and still heats up.

I purchased a used 07 GSA with 9000 miles on it and it had O Rings over the factory grips, the previous owner said he liked using them. So far I can't decide if I like them or not, there are about 30-32 rings per grip. One thing it does make the grips larger in diameter, I do have long fingers so it works for me. Anyone else ever done this before.
