Default How can I make my GPS warn me about traffic cameras

Ive just bought one and I thought that I would be alerted to the presence of all speed cameras on my route.

Presumably this is not the case?

So I have now realised that I need to download POI alerts from internet.

Do I have to buy these or can I get these for free from somewhere?

What GPS? Does it support POI alerts?

If you google "traffic camera POI" you'll get lots of hits. Maybe you'll find some freebies. Don't know.

If you have Garmin, you can download GPX type POIs

There is a tool for garmin (on garmin website) to upload the POI to GPS (who is connected by USB to PC)

Default GPS, Traffic Cams, Photoblockers

I've been looking into that also. There are several out there- here's one I came across that references several options...

Avoid Traffic Tickets
