HP2 Enduro Fork problems
Those of you with HP2 to chassis no. ZL02516 Eur and ZL10392 US who have strange noises from the forks please note.
BMW sent a service sheet to some Dealers in Nov 2008. Sheet no 44/2000, ref 31 42 92 39 00 relating to breakage of parts in the damper assy. Listed are BMW code numbers Default code 31 42 92 39 00 Operation codes 31 42 029, 31 42 521 (x2), 31 42 520 Part no references are 31 42 7 711 206, 31 42 7 699 429, 31 42 7 663 941 (x2). I have had no joy with my local dealer in Jersey, but am concerned. I have contacted BMW germany to see what the story is. Does anyone else have the same problem?
