Light Guard Grille

Here's the grille guard. I made this from 1/4 and 1/8 bar. I made a template out of cardboard, then made another template out of wood. I then drilled holes around the perimeter and formed the larger bar around the wood wiring it to the frame as I go. Got that? I'll take pictures of the form if you're interested. More pictures below.

Garmin 276C Mount

Next is a familiar sight; a 276C mounted to the handlebars. I robbed the idea from several of you.

The pipe is about 3/8" inside diameter with metric hex bolts, all found at good ol' Home Repo. I simply welded 1" flat stock to the assembly. I like simple. It vibrates more than I would like, so I think I found a winter project. I'm open to ideas to reduce this if you have them. I also would like it to be above the instrument guage so that I don't have to look down so much. It's not bad the way it is, but could be better.

Widder Heated Vest Controller Mount

I think the next few will illustrate just how tapped the author is. I needed a place to put the controller for my Widder vest, but I have two issues; I have a hard time drilling holes in something I don't own and I can't stand things attached to a vehicle that doesn't look like it was born there. Yeah, I know, but my doctor says I'm doing much better :)

Everything tucks nicely behind the black cover. The plug end velcros to the tank when not conected to the coiled cord. [Coiled or straight power and accessory cords are available from AeroStitch]

The placement is comfortable for those not going through menopause.
Under-the-Tail Bag

I admit it, I sew. You should too, if you did, you could make something like this to store all the crap that doesn't need to be in a bag. Quiche is overrated, but sewing is engineering with a needle. By he way, this is an old laptop bag I persuaded to be a toolbag. I can take a few more pictures if you're interested.
That's enough for one night. Hope you get something out of this, I know I got a lot out of ADVRider. Thanks again.
