"I was experiencing a lot of buffeting with the stock screen, so I cut 4 inches off it with a jig saw and that solved the problem, and it became a much breezier ride... but I wanted some more wind protection for long distance riding, so I bought the Givi screen.
The Givi screen is 14.5 cm taller than stock (about 6") and it has two support arms which attach to the quick release knobs. In order to still be able to adjust the screen on the go, I found I needed to remove the bolts at the end of the screen knobs. With them in place, the screen remains fixed, but by removing them, it is adjustable. I'm quite pleased with it. No more buffeting and the price was very reasonable, about US$130. (the screen did come with a Givi logo on the front, but I removed it.)"
P.S. I suggest RL Motorcycles as a place online where you can get this Givi windscreen (and other Givi products) at a good price...
