Aerostich Elkskin Ropers here. Aerostich recommends getting them wet and riding as they dry out and mold to your hand and the bars. They good! I have a pair of BMW brand rain gloves that remind me why I don't like riding in the rain but they do the job.

Have used Alpinestars SP1/ SP2 for regular most of the year riding, for rain use the Rukka virium, have also recently tried on the Joe Rocket Burner gloves...heated and waterproof!

Which ones do you have? I'm getting ready for another pair, and was looking for leather gloves with touch screen capability.

There are several products out there that will make any glove touch screen friendly. I found one similar to these at Cycle Gear for less then $10. Have them on both summer and winter Lee Parks Design gloves.

How durable is this stuff? I've tried the any glove solution in the past and it didn't work for very long...

I carry 3 different level of gloves.
1. Finger tip less for warm weather and touch screen
2. Waterproof with knuckle protection via cycle gear
3. Winter high cuff with insulation, including a pair of inner glove liners

I lose at least 1 pair every trip. That and sunglasses so I tend to look for best value price.

P S. I am getting ready to order a pair of these;

Z1R 270

which compares to the Icon Pursuit. @ $100.

I have the Lee Parks DeerSports PCI for winter and the Lee Parks Deer Tours outseam for summer. Gloves - Lee Parks Design When I'm in the rain I use the summer gloves with the Aerostich 3 finger rain covers. https://www.aerostich.com/aerostich-...it-covers.html I've found on long trips with a lot of freezing rain and light snow the summer gloves with the 3 finger rain covers and handlebar heat work amazingly well. The light gloves gives me the feel I want and the covers keep me warm and dry down into the 30's.
