Bought the Touratech lower crash bars for my '15 GSW last year. Good quality and the black paint job matches the stock frame nicely (blacked out frame with the Alpine White color). Got a nice price break from the "bargain bin".

My intent was to simply protect the heads from an accidental tip over. After a bad crash in '09, the next one will be a hobby ending event, so I'm not concerned about any protection from a high speed lay down. Hindsight being 50-50, I think I might have gone with the simpler head covers. I'm getting the annual maintenance done in a couple of weeks, and I guess I'll find out if I get to pay for extra labor to have them removed for working on the valves.

The Touratech bars tuck up nicely around the pipes and heads, and don't scrape the pavement when doing mild knee-dragging. I did touch down on the left side during a low speed turn a week ago, but for the life of me I can't figure out which part hit the pavement.
