Any ideas on how to do that?

Take the spark plugs out and put the bike in 6th gear then rotate the back tire. If you rotate the tire a bit while shifting it will be easier.
KPed24 and Southpaw like this.

Well, here's the update. I got a new starter. I didn't pay $600 like the dealer wants to charge. I got it from Peter at [https://www.bombarsbeemers.com. I got a great price! Anyways, the starter wasn't the issue, which I ruled out of the equation, but I bought one anyway since it was a good deal. I pulled the spark plugs out and rotated the rear wheel several times. It coughed up a lot of oil through the cylinder. I tried starting the bike again, it still won't turn over. I can hear the pinion enter the engine, but it still won't turn the fly wheel to crank the engine.

Any other ideas or think I'm doing something wrong?
