Short front turn signals for 2005?

I had a pair of tip overs while stopped, and broke one front turn signal stalk, lost the lense for the other, are there shorter stalks that will work?

What are my options for this?

Also, how obnoxious are the Weiser Ultrabrights 2-in-1 LED Driving Light/Turn Signal*at night to other drivers?

Some people switch the rear stalks (shorter to the front and put the fronts (longer) on the rear. Pretty easy switch if you are at all mechanically inclined.

As far as the Weisers are concerned, is obnoxious good or bad. They are attention grabbers.

Have heard of replacing the front stalks with shorter rear stalks, but not sure I would have the front stalks on the rear? May hang out to near to the exhaust?
Also, curious if there is a DOT required distance between indicators in front or back?
I have the Weisers conversion on the rear of my GSA and they are bright as @#$%!

+1 on the Weisers! I just added the full kit and love them. I don't feel they are obnoxious at all, and they are obvious when lit so I hope it grabs someones attention away from their cell phone long enough to register I'm there.

Still have Harley, but it's quite lonely now...

it's gonna happen, as I deem them sacrificial. I order spares from China and carry a set in the pannier. $10/pair.

I came across some removable signals a few weeks ago. Have not tried them personally but they appear to be a clever alternative to conventional signals in that they can quickly and easily be remove and tossed in a tank bag upon arrival at the trailhead.

They also appear shorter than the stock signals so perhaps less vulnerable in the event of an on-road mishap also. At $80/pair they're fairly cheap insurance for an adventure, dual sport and track day bike.

FWIW, I have a pair of the Weiser 2-in-1 UltraBright Fronts (Amber Turn/White Driving) still in the box if anyone interested. They were purchased for my son's G310GS but he elected to go with the BMW LEDs instead (they're plug n play on the non-CANBUS 310GS).

Good luck.
