Paul C

i have just bought a bmw gs1200 adventure 2009 and ive had it less than a week and i ran out of petrol on sunday when the range indicated 56 miles. There was no fuel warning light indication when the bike cut out.
is this a common problem and what can i do to stop this happening again

Many Thanks

yes, look up "fuel strip" on any BMW forum for that year...if you're in the US it is covered under warranty, even now at 10 years old
