Thanks Marc, almost pressed the button on the SW Motech bags but your post made me reconsider.

Now to figure out what mount I need to purchase as I have the plastic/aluminum bags that mount on the passenger foot pegs.

Marc,
Good to know they can be had without the BMW premium price.

On the MoskoMoto web site, under news; they announced the were building the system for BMW. They will have the "beaver tail" and a BMW badge instead of the Mosko lizard. ( And probably a BMW price). Probably a good thing for Mosko financially. Previously the did not sell through dealers.

My dealer quoted me a price just this week for the BMW branded soft panniers at 699ish to put on my yet to be delivered GSA. Not exactly what I am looking for but will keep in mind as I do like the idea of having bags that withstand a drop.

I received the bags from MoskoMoto yesterday. They were very easy attach. The adapter plate did take a little extra time as there are no written instructions. I went to their website and looked at the installation videos.
Seem to be well made. The attachment system is really nice.

RSmith,

With 25L bags on both sides doesn't that make the exhaust side stick out farther than the other? I'm getting my new bike next week that's identical to yours and am about to order bags for it. I'm leaning toward soft bags after seeing yours.

It depends on which mounts you have! Some are symmetrical, while others asymmetrical.
