Show us your Top Box/Case!

Now that I've pulled the trigger on my very first GS, I am very interested in putting a top box on the bike. Was wondering, with all the choices out there, if you folks can post a pic of your top box/case and what you like or don't like about it... Cheers!!!!!

I have the Vario top box from bmw, it comes in really handy and is height adjustable, the key matches the ignition key. it also comes off really easily. I don't think I would use the Vario side boxes if I were going off road but the top box has been great. I love the security of a box as well.
good luck !!

Ok, 3 top cases, and one side storage case.

I use the largest square case as my commute box. Holds briefcase, jacket etc. It also holds 2 full size helmets

The smaller box is my, well, smaller box... Holds one full size.

The largest, round shape, has a carry handle. I use that for travel with clothes. Holds 2x full size helmets.

The side box inside sideracks, holds tools etc. Best thing ever.

Thanks Asaulo1. My full face large Schuberth helmet does not fit in the Top Box. A smaller helmet would.

Show us your Top Box/Case!

I've been fortunate to do a lot of motorcycle touring. For years, if I had space in panniers, I filled it up with "stuff." Since retirement, though, I've figured out the old travel adage, "Less is more." When I got my newest machine, I equipped it with Bumot panniers and top box and I've been impressed with the quality. The top box, though, is 41 liters and, on last summer's trip to The Last Frontier, my camera equipment seemed to get "lost" in there. Of course, I filled in the spaces with more "stuff."

Well, I got in touch with Jason at ADV Motorrad and told him what I needed. Just after I got back from a trip to California, the 25 liter top box arrived and I got it mounted:

Jason was nice enough to include a liner for the top box and it really suited my purpose:

I wanted a padded place to store my camera equipment so, after figuring out that, I removed the liner from a waterproof camera case and inserted it into the Bumot liner:

I need to take a little putt to make sure everything the equipment doesn't move around too much but, if it does, I think I've a solution for that.

Love that Fuji X100! For the smaller top box that you have, does it fit at least 1 full face helmet? Also, was an adapter necessary to mount the top box or did you have to totally replace the rack?
