I owned two sizes of the "Junior", the small and the large. I ended up selling the large ones to a friend who used them for years before selling that bike. I still have the small ones but their mount is on an old Honda 750F I have that has not seen the road in several years, due to a variety of reasons not relevant to this discussion.

I put over 50kmiles on the two sizes of Juniors and they were excellent. They did not leak in the rain and remained securely fastened throughout their use.

I think that if you are going the aftermarket bags route and do not want metal a la Jesse or Touratech, or Holan, then Hepco & Becker would be an excellent choice.

NTGS HB Gobi

I have used HB gobi for 4 years and dropped the |Bike GS800 a couple of times. no problem with this panniers at all. like the inbuild water tank. 3.5 liter per site with tap. If you live in a hot area use white once.

Any ones is particular, or just the plastic ones in general?

All of them are made with ABS plastic, with the Junior and Gobi models featuring a double wall. (Gobi being the thicker of the two, as they are the strongest Hepco & Becker pannier case)

May I jump on board and ask (since you're the vendor for HB) what is the total width of the Gobi's (37L) on HB racks, on say a 13+ GSW?

By all means, jump on board!

The width of each Gobi case is 9.8 inches. The width of the GSW frames from end to end would be 19.3 inches, for a total of 38.9 inches from end to end.

The Super Tenere has almost identical dimensions for its side carrier, and luckily we have a Super Tenere here with the Gobi cases mounted onto it! (See below, and pay no attention to the expired plate )

Thanks for the reply and the awesome pic!. As for your expired tag, I'm sure you're aware that Virginia State Police don't play...

Those HB Gobi's look the business. Not sure just yet whether I like the wide arsed look but I've got time to decide. I'm making a short list and the HB Gobi's are on it.

Yeah that feller doesn't get out much anymore anyways, reserved as a show bike.

The Gobi's are definitely one of the toughest cases out there...we've got a set on display here that've been beaten all over the world
