Broken/objectionable site betavior

There's something really annoying going on with the site apparently caused by some of the video ads that are placed here. Just during the typing of this short post, I've been interrupted and taken to an entirely different web page advertising Chevy cars and trucks no less than 5 times. Please fix this as it makes any posting a miserable experience!

I have not experienced this, but I do notice some ads when I'm not logged in.
I wonder if you have a hijacked browser that is unrelated to this site.

I don't see any ads when I am logged in. I also use Firefox as a browser with Ad Block Plus installed, perhaps that solves the issue?

No pop-up ads here either. I'm using a Mac running Safari.

can you get me a screen shot? We'll need to locate the ad id and then figure out what the script it.

It's not doing it now. It was a Chevy add with a video that seemed to create the problem yesterday.

I'm running Safari on a Macbook.

No ads of any type

I use Chrome, AVG Free. No ads/popups, or objectionable materials.

Hey,

The next time you see these ads we'd need the following:

1.What device you're using.
2.The OS/browser you're using.
3.Your general location.
4.The URL of the ad, you can get this by right clicking the ad and clicking "copy link address". You can also click "inspect" and copy the highlighted text.
5.Screen shot

Once we get that we can send it to our tech team and get them to investigate. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No problem and will do. This past time it was :

Macbook Air running 10.10.5 Yosemite
Safari
Annapolis MD

The Ad was a Chevy ad that was running video at the top of the screen and on the right side of the screen when first visiting the post page for the thread I was on.

I'll try to capture it when it's happening next time. Not doing it now.

Wes
