I grew-up in the flight path of Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach. My dad was stationed at Fort Story between tours in Korea and then retired there. Spent more than one evening in the parking lot of the outside the fence Class VI store getting young sailors to buy us beer. We were uniformly successful.
My first time at NAS Oceana was the last time that I saw an F-14 fly (sad), my oldest brother flew them and the Navy was retiring the birds. Class VI Store brings back memories, as long as I have been in the Navy we usually call it the Package Store and no longer any kids hanging out asking for us to buy them beer, they're too busy indoors playing X-Box.
