Made the jump

Well.... I told the old lady yesterday. Listen here old lady! I'm going down to Euro Cycles of Daytona and getting my bike and I don't wanna hear no guff about it..... Lol ok so it didn't quite go like that but I traded my Road Glide, she will be sorely missed, for the 2018 R 1200 GS Adventure (stealth mode)... I think it was a good decision.

You'll get over the Harley. If I had to get rid of one, I believe I'd have to let the Road Glide Go. From the deals I've seen on trade-in Harleys coming out of BMW of Baton Rouge, I'll bet you took a pounding on the trade. You'll get over that too. Congratulations...

Nice!

Too bad you had to get rid of the Harley. I wasn't going to part with my Harley to buy the GSA, I just added it to the garage!

Warchild-
Is Euro Cycles of Daytona the same owner(s)as (?formally?) BMW of Daytona? I remember it was/is owned by an airline pilot..

Had to make the room. Already have too much other stuff in there.

Got rid of my 2010 Ultra Classic to make room for my first BMW which was the 2018 GSA Triple Black as well. Not one regret, except one...wish I got rid of the Harley a long time ago LOL. GSA simply rocks. Clunky shifting is my only gripe.

Sold a 2017 Road Glide for a 2018 R1200GS. The Road Glide was great on the highway, very comfortable. I find the GS to be a great all around bike, i am having a lot more enjoyment with it. Like the new TFT and the suspension.

I agree that my Road Glide is great on a "good" highway. If I know I'm going on a crappy road, I take the GSA every time.
