I test rode the 19. Couldn't notice the difference in HP but it did seem to have a little bit better throttle response.

ďSemper FidelisĒ (Always Faithful) is the motto of the Corps. That Marines have lived up to this motto is proved by the fact that there has never been a mutiny, or even the thought of one, among U.S. Marines.

Is it true that the '19 prices is less than the '18 GS?

2018 GS vs 2019 GS

I have an Ď18 GSA. Absolutely Love It!!!

Iíll take a 19 out for a spin.... but with the added HP to the engine.... my wife says itís not going to be enough to get a newer bike....

Hi . Did you own a LC Gs1200?
I own a gs1200 2015 mod and after a test ride on the 2019 1250 I also couldn't feel any difference in power or torque and throttle response was softer and not as sharp as my bike.

I suppose to feel the power difference, one would really need to be generous on the right wrist - something I personally am hesitant / unable to do on a "test bike" in a "test route".

The MSRP on the 2019 may be a little less than the 2018, but many of the BMW dealers have a good stock of 2018's around and are offering big discounts. I just bought a new 2018 GSA rally for $6500 off the MSRP. I am more than happy with the power of the 2018.
