wind & rain protection GS versus GSA

Hey Inmates
Rode back from Lebanon TN, 2 1/2 days in rain & wind on slab on my 2007 GS, Madstad shield with spoiler on top.
Sore neck from helmet bobbing etc. Rode at 70 and guys on GS's were blowing by me at 80.
Is the wind protection on the GSA with the wings that much superior for those conditions???
Love my 2007, maybe install the GSA wings?

The wings and the added width of the GSA tank do add wind and weather protection for you upper legs and torso. Adding a taller touring windscreen also aids long distance comfort.
