I am thinking of upgrading my 2004 GS for a 2010 GS. I have a spare set of wheels for my old model, will they fit the newer twin cam model? THANKS

I'd check with your local Motorrad to be sure, but looks like the wheels on those bikes are different part numbers.

2004 rear cast wheel: https://shop.bmw-motorrad.ca/p/BMW_2...317664746.html

2010 rear cast wheel: https://shop.bmw-motorrad.ca/p/BMW_2...317705191.html

This spoked wheel on the other hand seems to fit both the 04 and the 10: https://shop.bmw-motorrad.ca/p/BMW_2...317710858.html

Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong.

I've checked RealOEM and followed the supersedes and superseded by links. It looks like the wheels changed style but still fit - but I'd still like to hear from someone who's actually fitted some.

If it helps...

The wire wheels from my (crashed) 2005 fit my 2008...the only problem was the ABS ring, which I had to move every time I did the switch. ("Dirt" tires on one set, "Road" on the other...)
