2018 GSA Low Battery ?

I went and bought a 2018 R1200 GSA. Had it shipped here (SoCal). Tinkering and it won't start. Lights up but when you push the start button - clunk.

Error code says turn off all consumables. Not sure what I can turn off that would help. My 2014 had a plug on the left side that I could plug in a battery tender. I don't see one on this bike in that same area...is there one ?

So best way to handle this ? I'd ride the bike to charge it up, but have to get it started. Or plug it in and let it come up on it's own. Or ??

TIA

There should be an SAE cable curled up and zip tied under the trianglular panel on the right side of the bike where the battery is located. A battery tender plugs right into it.

Nope, no such animal under that panel.

I have that exact same connector on my 2014 and use it all the time for the battery tender. I was hoping there was one on this bike too.

Guessing it will have to be installed ?

charge it up, too much load on the alternator to bring up a low battery, the alternator was never designed to to that.

Riding "Sir Falls Downalot"

Solved

So not sure why but I'm guessing there was something on during transport (took about a week).

For whatever reason drained the battery some. Hooked up the charger and all good now.

I still want to add the SAE connection enzo5000 posted up above.
