Taken out by Merlot

I had a low side the other day when I came around a turn covered in grape juice. Seems it's harvest time and a truck dumped wine grapes, but didn't clean the road properly! Bike slid on the crash bar and almost ground through it. The only damage other than the crash bar was the tip of the brake lever broke and my Aerostich was trashed. I continued my ride!

and no protrusions or hi spots or anything to disrupt the slide and cause the bike to flip
I mean that was a hi rate of speed when you slid

I've ridden that road many times and it is a beautiful ride. I'll be extra vigilant when riding on it during the fall harvest.

Same question about the video system. I'm using an INNOVV K2.

Where is this road? State, from/to?

Current: 2020 R1200 GSA Low
Previous: 2016 R1200 GSA Low (traded); 2015 R1200 RT (traded); 2012 K1600 GTL (traded); 2011 R1200 RT (totaled, RIP)

Not meaning to hijack this thread and turn it into a GS Fails thread. Here is a clip of me taking a bath in the Santa Ynez Valley. You can fast forward to about the 4.30 minute mark to see the spill.
