Nav V on a 2007 RT?

I have a Nav V on my GS and have been thinking about installing some sort of cradle on my 2006 RT and swapping it between the bikes. Does the older RT have the plugs for the Nav V cradle? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks

Nav V on a 2007 RT?

I hooked up a Garmin 550 to an '08 RT and found the plug on right side of the steering head. They tape them up pretty well so they're a bit difficult to see. I've also heard some were taped on the left side of the steering head, too. You can get the proper harness from your local dealer, #80 00 0 611 656.

Mike

Cradle for a generic Garmin will supply power but you will need to control all functions using the touch screen. BMW 4-button cradle gives you the same level of control as the wonderwheel, which is limited but nonetheless very useful IMO
