Good BMW Tech in TO area

I have used a guy, numerous times, in Streetsville. Als Motorrad. He has some Youtube how to videos. One of them is my bike. Great guy, only works on BMWs and is very reasonable. I try to do most of my own work but if I am stumped or unwilling to tackle a big job, he's my go to. I stumbled on him on Kijiji, I don't know him personally, and don't get any kick backs If anyone wants his contact info, shoot me a PM.

Crowbar Didn't know they had a location in Newmarket, but it sounds just as bad as the Woodbridge location..I tried ordering parts from them when I first picked up my GS..just getting through to someone who had a clue about bikes was next to impossible.customer service was brutal to say the least..even the service department wanted me to wait 6 weeks for a simple oil change..ended up ordering all I needed from Beemer boneyard and getting my own tools for basic service.just an all round bad expierience ,no way I'd give them any business..found a great shop in aurora for anything I can't handle myself

ontario dealerships hat suck

Hey
I'm currently living in Sudbury Ontario Canada and have some question ask of other bloggers. Has anyone had dealings with Maranello moto sports out of Newmarket Ontario? I ask this question cus I'd like to know if anyone has got [email protected] like I have by their parts department. I ride an 2006 r1200gs, but also have a 2000 k1200lt that I rode before the gs came along. While out riding the k1200 1 day I blew a brake line on the front right side caliper. I ordered a new 1 from maranello moto sports in Newmarket. When it arrived it was the wrong part so I shipped it back to the parts dept along with the original that I had taken off the bike. I did this so Mike in the parts dept. would have something to compare the new brake line to. I received another brake line from them but it looked used or it was damaged in shipping. the only problem was the packaging was not broken in any way. this lead me to believe they shipped me a used part. I tried on the phone and in person to get a new brake line or the money put back onto my credit card but was given the brush off by their parts manager Jim who told me that he had inspected the part personnelly and that it was in good shape. more or less calling me a liar. To date I haver got nothing but the brushj off from them and want to put this out there so others don't get [email protected]@@cked like I did. After looking online I found the complete brake line kit for the whole bike from Speigler Brakes for under what I serendered to maranello. By writing this I'm hoping only to get satisfaction that others will shop for their parts elsewhere. I will also not speak highly of them to anyone I meet on the open road. Thanks to this blog for the space to write this.
