Ordrock Its all part of the AXIS of evil. German vehicles, Japanese vehicles and Italian vehicles. They are still pissed that they lost the war. This way they wear US citizens down with having to switch tools when doing simple shit to our over priced vehicles. It's all a conspiracy.

jaxon Some things will remain mysteries.

Every aftermarket item I have replaces the torx with hex, I kinda wish they'd supply torx rather that having to carry or use both.

I suspect bean counters are involved.

Bash plate has 3 different sizes

I need three different tools to take the bash plate of my 2010 to change the oil and filter.
Why the F do they do this?

So why does the final drive have a Hex nut at the fill hole and a Torx nut at the drain hole?
Has to be a logical reason right?
Or is my GSA different?
