Owned a great 09 GS-totaled by a left turner---replaced with a 2012.....could have replaced the 09 with any thing but chose the identical bike just 3 years newer....UPDATE-broke my ankle and needed something shorter due to ankle issues-purchased an R1200R-2 inches shorter and 50 lb lighter-still a boxer motor and I remain an avid fan of this forum....I may even put dual sport tires on it when the time comes(Avon Trailriders available in correct size).
