BMW sales almost 10% of their bikes in the U.S, the reason Asia appears to be so strong is that places like India, China, Thailand and other countries in that region buy up cheap crap and scooters like they're going out of style.
Lol Jetspeed and to get a bmw here in India you also have to trade in your kidneys!
The TFT option here is Rs 90,000/- which translates to $1500
TFT looks cool but somehow for me analog still is cool! The old school charm seeing the needles move up cannot be replicated by numbers....but I guess each to his own and eventually TFT will replace the analog

You pay 25k for the bike and worry about $350 for Tft? No question to me it’s great, I can see the display now and indications. The sun or glare has no effect digital speed is great with rpm in a yellow color with red for engine temp
Sigh here in India its a $1500 option

One thing I like about the Nav 6 is that its directly in my line of sight
I wholeheartedly agree with your view. I also use the Nav VI in the same manner. I've read that the TFT is a bit redundant to having a Nav VI when viewing general information of the motorcycle.
