2009 R1200GSA, Riding off road the rear splash guard/mud flap support bolt attached to the shaft drive assembly keeps breaking off. Local shop/mechanic says leave off there not made to ride off road and will keep breaking. Twice it broke on me. Any ideas on how to keep existing flap? If not any ideas on a modified flap?? Thanks, Gary
Hi Gary.
I took the fender off mine and installed the Touratech license plate frame mudflap. Not sure if this will provide enough crud-tossing power for your ride, but it's an idea to check out.
