Saw that a few minutes ago. Does BMW have a site to check your VIN against? I have a 14 R1200 GS bought used from an individual.

Not sure there is much value in this site. My GS does not show any outstanding, may be too early.
Have a letter in hand on my 2015 FJR, it also shows nothing on the NHTSA site. Not very confidence inspiring. Should have known that with a.gov address!🤣
