So now I’ve tried 3 different front tires and I’m convinced the noise is a not tire issue but a design issue of the front fairing.

But for what it’s worth, of the three, the Bridgestone A41’s, the Michelin Road 5 Trail, and the Dunlop Trailsmart, my preference was the Michelin. Slightly quieter than the other two, due in part I suspect to the thinner tread lines in the center of the tire, and easier to flick the bike around.

Metzeler Roadtec 01s are very quiet and smooth on the pavement. Highly recommended.
